About Imfuneko Projects

Mission:

Imfuneko Projects is a non-profit organization committed to making a positive impact in historically disadvantaged communities. We are currently operating in Masiphumelele, Capricorn, and Red Hill in the Western Cape but looking to further expand the reach of our organisation. Our multifaceted approach focuses on addressing various needs within these communities through targeted programs.

Key Initiatives:

1. Disability Programme: We operate a disability program that aims to empower individuals with disabilities by providing them with support, resources, and opportunities for skill development. Our goal is to promote inclusivity and create a more accessible environment for people with disabilities.

2. Feeding Scheme: Imfuneko Projects is actively involved in a feeding scheme, recognizing the importance of addressing food insecurity within our communities. Through strategic partnerships and community engagement, we work towards ensuring that nutritious meals are accessible to those in need.

3. Community Garden: Our organization is dedicated to promoting sustainable practices and community self-sufficiency. The community garden initiative focuses on educating residents about gardening techniques, encouraging local agriculture, and fostering a sense of collective responsibility for the environment.
